Ronald Smetzer received a B.S. degree from the University of New York and an M.S. degree from California State University, Northridge. Professor of Industrial Technology 1981-present. He serves as Chair of the Manufacturing Sub-Committee of the Industry/Technology Advisory Committee. He has extensive experience in the Machine Tool industry and belongs to numerous engineering and machine tool associations.

Paul Stevens (adjunct faculty) received an A.S. degree from Pierce College and a Ryan Vocational Credential (Life) from UCLA. He has taught courses in Machine Tool Technology at Pierce College from 1999 to present. Before coming to Pierce College he taught Machine Shop at Cleveland High School and Simi Valley Adult School. He has considerable experience in the Machine Tool Industry.
